Trevor Doerksen, CEO of MoboVivo, is a nominee for Calgary's MediaFRESH 2010 awards, held April 30 at Mount Royal University in Calgary, AB. MoboVivo partnered with Cybera and the University of Calgary in May 2009 to develop middleware called Rapid Repurposing Technology'¢ ' MoboVivo's solution to the challenge of formatting and synchronizing digital media content. This technology enables on-the-go consumers to play their favourite digital media on any mobile device they have, wherever they may be.
The 2010 MediaFRESH awards, hosted by Digital Alberta, are dedicated to the recognition of those Alberta Digital Media Professionals and Post-Secondary students who have created outstanding project and programs between September 2008 and November 2009.
The April 30th awards gala will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Ross Glen Hall of Mount Royal University. A panel of experts in the digital media field will judge the finalists, and the winning nominees will be featured in a full color catalogue that will be published and distributed following the awards ceremony.
