Since its launch in 2011, the Digital Accelerator for Innovation and Research (DAIR) program has helped over 40 users to prototype and demonstrate their start-up ideas via the cloud. Led by CANARIE, Canada's Advanced Research and Innovation Network, the DAIR program was developed by staff at Cybera and Compute Canada, who provided cloud computing and data storage services.
Many of the DAIR participants reported that this was their first time using a cloud-based service, and said these tools have helped them generate new digital products and project opportunities, as well as improve their product launch readiness.
CANARIE is now looking to expand the DAIR program, and is seeking input from Canada's digital experts and entrepreneurs on what Cloud services they will require. The deadline to get your feedback in is March 14.
